Top 10 GPS Tracker Manufacturers of 2025

30.1.2026 | Tatsiana Kuushynava

At the beginning of 2026, we are reviewing and summarizing the results of 2025. In this article, we look at how the GPS device landscape on the GPS-Trace platform has changed and developed.

The analysis is based on the number of GPS trackers connected to the GPS-Trace platform as of January 1, 2025 and January 1, 2026. Both absolute growth in connected devices and percentage growth relative to the starting base were taken into account.

Top GPS Tracker Manufacturers of 2025

Let’s start with an overview of the manufacturer distribution on the GPS-Trace platform.
As of January 1, 2026, a total of 253,208 GPS trackers were connected to the platform, distributed among different manufacturers. To better illustrate the manufacturers’ shares, we have prepared the chart below.

As in the previous year, Coban, Jimi IoT (Concox), Sinotrack, Teltonika, and Xexun remain the leaders by number of connected devices. At the same time, new players such as WanWay and TKStar have entered the top ten, reflecting ongoing changes in the market.

When compared with the previous year, several conclusions can be drawn:

  1. The same manufacturers remain market leaders as last year, although their shares have slightly shifted. The strongest growth was shown by devices from Jimi IoT (Concox, China), Teltonika (Lithuania), and Sinotrack (Auto Leaders, China).

  2. Coban devices continue to hold the leading position, but their share of connected devices decreased slightly over the year — from 40.4% to 36.5%. One possible reason is the gradual phase-out of 2G networks in some countries, where many Coban devices relied on this communication standard.

  3. The share of Xexun trackers declined from 3.8% to 3.2%.

  4. The share of legacy devices also continues to decrease (from 14.3% to 11.5%).

The absolute growth in connected trackers shows each manufacturer’s contribution to the actual growth of the GPS-Trace platform.

Below is the list of the fastest-growing manufacturers based on the number of GPS devices connected to the platform.

Top GPS Tracker Models of 2025

So far, we have looked at the most popular and fastest-growing manufacturers. Now let’s take a closer look at which GPS tracker models are preferred by our users and partners.

Top 10 GPS tracker models that continued to grow on the GPS-Trace platform in 2025

Tracker model 01.01.2025 01.01.2026 Growth (units) Growth (%)
1 Jimi IoT (Concox) GT06N 38 971 41 733 2 762 7.1%
2 Coban GPS403-A 17 709 17 987 278 1.6%
3 Teltonika FMB920 5 011 5 259 248 4.9%
4 Jimi IoT (Concox) WeTrack Lite 3 963 4 016 53 1.3%
5 Sinotrack ST-901 2 850 3 423 573 20.1%
6 Jimi IoT (Concox) WeTrack2 2 649 2 747 98 3.7%
7 Sinotrack ST-905 2 272 2 544 272 12.0%
8 Coban GPS403-B 1 619 2 486 867 53.6%
9 Sinotrack ST-907 2 175 2 223 48 2.2%
10 Cargo Unit (CU3) 921 1 403 482 52.3%

The most popular models that support the 4G standard remain stable — they continue to grow and maintain strong demand among users and service providers.

At the same time, the highest percentage growth is typically seen in models that started with a relatively small number of connections. This does not make them market leaders, but it shows that these devices are well received by users and have strong potential for further growth.

Among Bluetooth-enabled models on the GPS-Trace platform, Teltonika devices are used most often, with FMB920 and FMC920 being the leading models. Bluetooth is used not only for device configuration, but also for connecting external sensors, which makes these trackers more versatile and in demand — including for asset tracking with the Tags solution.

Key Takeaways

Based on the results of 2025, several clear trends can be highlighted:

  • Growth is driven by well-known brands. The largest increase in connected devices comes from major manufacturers such as Jimi IoT (Concox), Teltonika, and Sinotrack.
  • Popular models continue to grow. Devices with a large installed base remain in demand among users and partners.
  • The highest percentage growth is typically seen in models with a small starting base, while market leaders maintain their positions.
  • Users increasingly choose modern devices. The number of 4G models and Bluetooth-enabled trackers continues to grow, enabling sensor connectivity and asset tracking through the Tags solution.
