Jmak J-R12 is an advanced hardwired vehicle tracker designed for light and heavy vehicle fleet telematics, made by Brazilian manufacturer Jmak Tecnologia. It combines 4G LTE (with 2G fallback) cellular connectivity with multi-constellation GNSS supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. The device features built-in CAN bus reading with pre-mapped vehicle libraries, enabling fuel consumption, RPM, speed and other telemetry data without custom sniffing. Additional interfaces include RS-232 for accessories such as driver ID readers and temperature sensors. An internal backup battery ensures continued operation when vehicle power is unavailable, and 10,000-point data backup preserves records during connectivity gaps. Managed via the JotaWeb platform.
